Darwinism Versus Creationism Part III: The War & Opposing Views

Darwinism Versus Creationism Part III:

The War and Opposing Views

Creationism and Darwinism have been at war for ages. The differing positions as well as views on the world in which we live have people of either opinion caught in an endless  match of tug of war. That begs the question, why all the controversy? Does science have to disprove God’s existence? Can contemporary science point towards the God of the Bible?

In order to better understand the conflict….perhaps we should look into the actual issue itself.

The Formation of The World

Colossians 1:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.

The Bible, throughout both the Old and New Testament declares God’s divinity as well as His role as the Creator. What is interesting about this particular passage is the message of ‘all things.’ Everything, Colossians 1:16 proclaims to be made by God. This includes all that is above and below as well as things seen and unseen. EVERYTHING!

 And yet again…

Hebrews 1:10King James Version (KJV)

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands

Earth

Creationism, although there may be differing views in regards to the earth’s general age, gives no argument in terms of who created the earth. Old and Young Earth Creationists can agree on one thing: God Created The Earth. Be it in His timing or our literal interpretation of time, God made the Earth. The Bible serves and acts as the backbone for Creationists views as its pages from front to back declare the work of God’s hands.

The world’s creation has been  perhaps one of the biggest matters of speculation as well as controversy in terms of Creationism and Darwinism. While there have been some incredible discoveries that have brought a number of scientists to accept Darwin’s idea of species sharing a common ancestor, a number of Creationists and Scientists alike ask the same question:

How could something come from nothing? In other words, how could a number of non -living chemicals could assemble themselves to become a living organism?

Indeed science has come a long way, cloning…a form of replicating life has become more and more common. Science has even examined the components believed to be required to create life! The one thing that science however, has not been able to do….is create life itself. Still, life remains a mystery to them. What makes each person not only tick, but makes each of us special or unique remains beyond our reach and understanding. To put it simply, science has not been able to create a unique person or creature with its own genetic structure or traits.

Fascinated? Stunned? Confused maybe?  If so, you are not alone. Media has presented  some rather intense arguments against Creation. In turn, Creationists have given some rather passionate arguments as well against  Darwinism , Evolution, and Science.  So if you are of the opinion this is a lot to take in, you are right. When it comes to the exploration, reasoning, and overall study of the formation of the earth there are a number of theories that may explain it.

Which one is true? Is there any scientific proof in regards of the earth’s formation?

This is my next venture on the road of learning….
