“Shalom,” Peace be unto you.”
These words are familiar to me in terms of hearing or viewing. Today, they become deeper as I read Priscilla Shirer’s illustration of them.
“Shalom does not refer to the absence of chaos. Rather to an overall deeply entrenched sense of harmony, health, and wholeness in the midst of chaos. True peace is best measured against the backdrop of commotion and confusion. When instability abounds, you remain steadfast.”
In other words, Peace is something we are not only able to know before the storm, but even amidst its fury if we are putting our faith in the one who will not only see us through, but one who is with us every step of the way.
May God Bless You This Day….
