Kindness, it is said it can go a long way. Especially when we practice it more. Over the past few weeks this is something that I have been and continue to try to become increasingly more aware of. In the Revolution of Kindness…week 4 is one of particular interest. Week 4 is all about being kind. How can we be kind? Honestly, I have come to realize that it takes the smallest and most simple of gestures.
A great blogger, Ioana who writes in the blog, Music Teacher Lifestyle… reminded me of the importance of things as simple as a little patience, a smile, and gentle words can go.
I encourage you as you read this…think of moments perhaps when you were angry, upset, or impatient…and remember that it is in those moments in particular that a little kindness truly radiates like a light in a dark place. It shows the way for others….and more importantly, it reflects the love of the one who made us…so that He might be seen.
